Planting Smokin Carolina Reapers
Pick a sunny spot to grow your Reapers. They will need 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. I have the Reapers in a pot. Pots allow better temperature control; Reapers need above 70°F. temperature. Using a big pot can give you up to four feet tall and six feet wide plant. I used a 10-gallon pot for my Reaper plant
Growing Carolina Reaper
When growing Carlina Reaper peppers, it’s crucial to focus on plant health and proper pruning to ensure optimal growth. The lower branches and leaves of the plant often consume valuable nutrients that are better directed towards the top, where the peppers grow. By carefully removing these lower sections, you allow more nutrient to reach the developing Reapers, promoting a healthier, more productive plant. This practice not only boosts the size and heat of your peppers but also helps maintain the overall vigor of your Carlina Reaper plants.
Patience Is a Virtue
Smoking Carolina Reaper peppers require patience as the smoking process takes time to infuse the peppers with flavor. Similarly, gardening requires patience as plants take time to grow, flower, and produce. It is important to be patient and allow nature to take its course, trusting that your efforts will be rewarded in due time.
