Our Garden Story

2 mins read

After bidding farewell to the hustle and bustle of city life, I found solace in the tranquility of my garden. Armed with a newly discovered green thumb and a heart full of passion. I embarked on a journey to transform the arid desert landscape into a thriving blooming garden of life.

Chiles, tomatoes, lettuce, bell peppers, lemons, carrots, and strawberries – a cornucopia of flavors and colors now grace the once barren land. Thanks to the dedication and love poured into each seedling and plants. The Arizona sun, though scorching, only served to fuel the determination to succeed. Each harvest becoming a testament to the resilience of both the gardener and the garden.

The husky Shoto, with its keen sense of smell, takes great pleasure in exploring the garden. Shoto revealing in the earthy scents of the plants and vegetables. But it’s the fresh carrots that truly capture Shoto’s  heart, as he eagerly munches on the crunchy delights straight from the garden.

On the other hand, the Shih Tzu, affectionately known as Gizmo, has a sweet tooth for strawberries. With a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, Gizmo can often be found sneaking a berry or two from the strawberry patch, its tail wagging in delight as it savors the juicy sweetness of nature’s candy.

And let’s not forget the simple pleasures of drinking water from the water hose – a favorite pastime for both canine companions. As I tend to the plants, the dogs playful antics adding a touch of whimsy to the blooming garden.

During the sun-drenched desert, I have found a slice of paradise in my backyard. With a blooming gardening, two loyal canine companions, and a heart full of gratitude. My garden flourishes not just with plants, but with love, laughter, and the beauty of a life well-lived. So, if you ever find yourself in the Arizona desert, look for the garden bursting with life, laughter, and the unmistakable joy of living my best life surrounded by two furry friends who make each day a little brighter. Join us in our paw-some journey.
